MOPHAR

MOPHAR is een onderzoek naar lichamelijke gevolgen van psychische aandoeningen, ernst van psychische klachten en functioneren en bijwerkingen van psychofarmaca.

Over het onderzoek

MOPHAR (Monitoring Outcomes of Psycho Pharmacotherapy) is in 2015 opgezet bij GGZ Drenthe en is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een vast onderdeel van alle zorgprogramma's van GGZ Drenthe. MOPHAR heeft als doel de somatische screening te waarborgen (in combinatie met Routine Outcome Monitoring (ROM) met betrekking tot klachten, kwaliteit van leven en functioneren) voor psychiatrische patiënten. MOPHAR wordt ondersteund door het Rob Giel Onderzoekscentrum (RGOc) en naast GGZ Drenthe is MOPHAR ook geïmplementeerd bij Lentis.

De onderzoeksvraagstellingen bij het MOPHAR programma zijn:

  1. Wat is de aard en omvang van de lichamelijke probelmen en risico's bij patiënten met bipolaire, depressie- en angststoornissen bij de poliklinieken van GGZ Drenthe?
  2. In hoeverre kunnen we deze zodanig beïnvloeden dat patiënten gezonder worden en zich fitter gaan voelen?
  3. Wat zijn eventuele determinanten van lichamelijke bijwerkingen van deze groep?
  4. Hoe zijn deze geassocieerd met ernst van psychische klachten, slaap, trauma en leefstijl?

Het betreft een prospectieve naturalistische cohort studie, waarbij alle patiënten met een bipolaire, stemmings- of angststoornis bij de poliklinieken van GGZ Drenthe worden uitgenodigd om mee te doen met een meting bij intake en na een jaar. Vanaf 2026 wordt een extra meting na 6 maanden toegevoegd en wordt de screening ook geïmplementeerd in de klinieken. Alle medicatiegebruik, therapie-effect, ernst van psychische klachten en lichamelijke parameters (zoals bloeddruk, gewicht, bloedsuiker en vetspectra), bijwerkingen en determinanten van de aandoening worden in kaart gebracht en binnen het EPD van de patiënt aan de behandelaar en patiënt teruggekoppeld. In het kader van onderzoek worden cross-sectionele, longitudinale data analyses en traject analyses uitgevoerd.
